On January 25, 2023 (Wednesday), HCI held an event to celebrate the shipment of the first product of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) composite battery cases
This product is a product to be applied to AAM development after assembly by the customer, and provided an opportunity to expand participation in AAM development projects in the future.
Delivery of first article for
helicopter composite flapper valve
2023.01.11 (Wed) HCI delivered flapper valve composite parts used for LAH (Light Armed Helicopter)
HCI received an order for the manufacture of flapper valve composite parts from the customer on a turnkey basis, and performed the entire process from manufacturing the jig tools necessary for manufacturing, purchasing materials, manufacturing composite materials, machining, painting, and sub-assembly. And KSPC (Korea Special Process Certification) has been certified in three categories: Composite, NDT, and CP.
Boeing DPD Year Plan meeting
On January 10th, the Boeing-HIZE DPD Year Plan meeting was held at Hize Jinju Plant
Boeing SQ in charge of DPD visited us and DPD staff from our quality assurance team attended.Hize obtained DPD approval directly from Boeing in April of last year and is participating in the Boeing DPD FORUM meeting as a Boeing direct contractor.
In this meeting, we discussed in detail how to resolve the issues raised through the DPD Forum over the past year, and what needs to be improved this year. The first Boeing DPD Forum of this year, scheduled for February 15, will be held offline and will cover major DPD requirements such as CMM, PAS, and GD&T.
